The Department of Territory and Sustainability improves from June 21st to the 30th of September the bus service that serves the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici. Specifically the route of this line is extended from Sort to La Pobla de Segur. In addition another action is implemented: a new bus service that links the railway station La Pobla de Segur with the cable car of the Vall Fosca, which is the southern entrance to the Parc.
The Park Bus Service covered, up to now, the northern crown of the ParK, connecting important points like Espot, Vielha and Pla de l’Ermita, and stopping in different towns. From June 21st until September 30th, this service will be expanded until La Pobla de Segur.
From the 29th of June to September 29th the timetable of the new bus service that arrives to the cable car is coordinated with the train that connects Lleida with La Pobla de Segur. There will be two trips, one in the morning to take the cable car at 11:00 a.m., and a second, in the afternoon, back to the railway station in la Pobla de Segur.
These two new actions has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the stakeholders of the area: the Aigüestortes National Park, the Vall Fosca and different municipalities.
Moreover, an important dissemination of the two actions are being carried out. For example:
- 24.000 brochures
- 560 posters
- 700 e-mails
- Dissemination through social media.
