The Municipality of Funchal will launch a virtual multimedia exhibition that encompasses the actions carried out within urban rehabilitation and territorial planning, with a keen emphasis on multimodality and mobility management, the main scope of MATCH-UP.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held online, in which the background will be the municipal theatre, one of the island’s main artistic and cultural activities that also hosted the MATCH-UP “I Interegional Thematic Meeting” that took place in Funchal in February, 2019. Using a virtual 3D environment, the user can browse through the actions implemented accessing to videos, presentations and other promotional materials.
The virtual exhibition will be available to the public until July, 2022 and is available on the following link www.funchalurbanconference.pt . The event is one of the main highlights of the European Mobility Week, under the theme “Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility”.”
