On the 7th to 8th of November 2019, in the Castle and Park Complex in Krasiczyn, Podkarpackie Region, POLAND (37-741 Krasiczyn 179; www.krasiczyn.com.pl) the 1st Metapanel of Intelligent Specializations of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (Aviation and Space, Automotive , Quality of life and ICT) was organized. About 80 representatives from SME companies, academia and clusters took part in this meeting.
Metapanel is a dedicated panel for representatives of all smart specializations of Podkarpackie, including clusters, entrepreneurs and business environment institutions. It is be an opportunity to cooperate and look for synergies between the Intelligent Specializations of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship - Aviation and astronautics, Quality of Life, Automotive and Information and telecommunications.
The main purpose of this event was to discuss and find answers to questions like: specificities of the industry of smart specialization sectors, financial instruments and tools of intervention to stimulate regional innovation within the framework of regional smart specialization, or the identification of strategic projects for key industries beyond 2020.
Understanding by the public administration of the needs and possible barriers to the development of a given industry, which is the region's intelligent specialization, will allow for better preparation of the Regional Operational Program for 2021-2027.
On the second day of this event, the results of work in working groups were presented during the general session, which counted with the participation of the Department Directors responsible for programming the new ROP.
