A call for tenders was launched on the PiTeF Supply Chain Technology Platform (PiTeF) on 15 July 2019. The call was aimed at financing collaborative projects under the new Technological Supply Chain Platform. EUR 16 million of ERDF funds have been allocated for funding industrial research and/or experimental development projects by companies and other subjects in sectors identified by the regional S3 strategy such as aerospace, automotive, green chemistry, mechatronics, textile, agribusiness and health innovation. The initiative aims to develop new products, production processes, and services, in order to help to raise companies’ competitiveness (especially SMEs) as a booster for the specific scientific and technological areas of the regional S3 strategy.
On 26 to 27 November 2019, Aerospace & Defense Meetings: the 7th International Business Convention for the Aerospace Industry will take place in Turin. This is a unique international business convention for the aerospace and defence industry in Italy. In 2 days, participating companies have the chance to meet and build up targeted business relations with the chance to develop new projects with companies from all over the world.
Leonardo, together with Thales Alenia Space, Avio Aero and Collins Aerospace have confirmed their support. Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier are just some of the big players participating in the convention.
