The Council of Tampere Region arranged the fourth Regional Stakeholder Meeting in PriMaaS. There were 11 participants including members from seven stakeholder organisations. In the circumstances of COVID-19 the meeting was online.

The meeting started with the introduction of Carbon Neutrality Roadmap of Tampere Region. Transport is one theme in the roadmap (picture). A central objective is to increase walking, cycling and mass transit. Actions are divided to short-, medium- and long-term plans.

PTAs (Public Transport Authorities) of the Region presented current situation and exit-plans in passenger transport under COVID-19. For Nysse, the PTA of Tampere urban region, a big part of the exit-plan from COVID-19 is to promote new tramway which starts to operate later this year. PIRELY, the PTA outside the urban region aims to restore the confidence of users via communication and cooperation.

Stakeholders were informed about current affairs in PriMaaS. We discussed about Policy Instruments that the project aims to influence. The representative of Tampere University informed the group about IcoMaaS 2022 conference that is under preparation.
