Tuesday the 17th of November 2020 the stakeholders meeting North Netherlands took place and was hosted by Dr. Daisy Tempelman (Energy Law & Policy expert) from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
The following question was leading during this online meeting:
Which party should receive financial support to solve the shortage of network capacity (network congestion problem)?
The agenda of this online stakeholders meeting was as follows:
- 15:00-15:10 Welcome by Rima Dijkstra, introduction of the SHREC Project
- 15:10-15:20 What are other partners doing? An overview of some of the best practices in Sweden and Slovakia
- 15:20-15:25 Introduce the topic: subsidies and policy with regard to network congestion
- 15:30-16:30 Discussion
- 16:30-16:45 Wrap up, last questions and input.
There were interesting discussions and conversations. The stakeholders learned a lot from each other. Especially because many interested parties with different backgrounds and levels of knowledge in the field of network capacity came together.
