The representatives of Hanze University of Applied Sciences gathered the stakeholders of SHREC project on 23rd of January to present the project activities and the outcomes of the kick off meeting in Groningen. The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
- NNL region in energy transition: what is needed to enhance the process?
- Prosumers’ concept: how to encourage households and energy collectives to produce renewable energy?
The discussion proved to be highly interactive with a lot of feedback from the stakeholders. One of the important points highlighted by the participants is the need for more cooperation between the states and the regions. The conclusion was made, that by making the use of the knowledge of other developments, research and data it would become much easier to develop or scale up certain initiatives.
