The Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests launched in public consultation the guidelines for the Energy Efficient House Program. The target group is the householders from Romania and they can benefit from a financing of maximum 15,000 euros (60% of eligible costs) in order to make investments for the energy efficiency of their house. Beneficiaries of the Energy Efficient House can choose for thermal insulation systems, condensing plants, energy efficient, insulating windows, solar panels, ventilation systems, LED lighting, motion sensors, new valves and pipes and other equipment that will improve energy efficiency of the house in order to reduce energy losses from people's houses.
