On 3 April 2020, Massimiliano Di Mattia, on behalf of SMART WASTE Lead Partner ARRR, and Raul Pop, from the Romanian NGO ECOTECA had a virtual meeting to discuss municipal waste management.
The call compared Good Practices and weaknesses of municipal waste management on a local level in Romania and Italy. they also discussed legislative issues including positive drivers and obstacles in fostering innovation in technologies and approaches, in both countries.
Both agreed on keeping in touch to further develop good practices exchange, thanks to both ECOTECA and SMART WASTE partners expertise and the upcoming SMART WASTE results.
