Tuscany manufacturing sector is benefiting from a public funding of EUR 16.7 million to develop innovative technologies and approaches to waste recycling.
As a result of a call launched by Tuscany ERDF OP in the current programming period, 29 projects, addressing waste streams from 6 among Tuscany main manufacturing industries and 9 additional waste streams of environmental concern will benefit from a financial support. It is hoped that this funding will help the regional manufacturing sector the regional manufacturing sector to find innovative solutions to increase the amount of waste to be recycled and to reduce the amount of waste that, today, end up in landfills.
