The Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences (TEIWM) briefly presented the SUPER project and the basic points of the Action Plan at the workshop of the Interreg Europe SYMBI project that took place in Kozani, Western Macedonia, Greece, on the 26th of February 2019,
Associate Professor Dimitris Tsiamitros, from the TEIWM team, presented the SUPER project summary and the activities of the Greek partner’s action plan at the Western Macedonia region on Tuesday 26th of February 2019 at 09.30-12.00, at the municipal board’s room of Kozani. SUPER project is close to the end of phase 1 and its action plan includes actions towards Environmentally Driven Business Development that focus on eco-innovation activities in the Energy Sector. On the other hand, SYMBI project is now shaping the action plan that will contribute to improve the implementation of regional development policies and programmes related to the promotion and dissemination of Industrial Symbiosis and Circular Economy in the region. The mayor of Kozani, Mr Lefteris Ioannidis, representatives from the CERTH institute in Greece and other stakeholders were present and attended the conversation.
