The general director of Water, Sebastián Delgado, received the Montenegrin delegation in the Regional Ministry where he highlit that "with the proposed itinerary, will know the process of sanitation and water purification with the latest technologies, as well as modernization systems and infrastructure improvement of irrigation and hydraulics ". Also, the managing director of the Regional Entity for Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment (ESAMUR), Joaquín Ruiz, accompanied them to visit the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Alguazas which is one of them where you can see better the reusing process from the plant until the plot of land.
ESAMUR is currently one of the most important stakeholder for Murcia Region, in the reusing process.
This visit is part of TAIEX, the technical assistance and information exchange instrument of the European Commission (EC), which includes Turkey, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, among others. With this tool of cooperation, the public administrations of these countries know measures approved by the EU.
