Mazovia Energy Agency hosted the Import Workshop in Warsaw on the 23rd of May 2019 in which participated stakeholders from local Managing Authorities including Marshall Office of Mazovian Voivodeship - Department of Regional Development and European Funds, Mazovian Unit of Implementation European Projects, Mazovian Office for Regional Planning, Mazovian Real Estate Management and an expert from Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.

After a welcome message from the CEO of Mazovia Enegy Agency, Bartosz Dubiński, all guests prepared short introduction about their units and work that they manage.

Then, the workshop focused on updates in EMPOWER project and  Action Plans proposal. After presenting the concept the discussion opened up and the stakeholders provided their comments and suggestions.

After this, our main expert- Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland proceed with the online presentation with the title of “Irish Public Sector Program”.  The program is a statutory requirement that all Irish public bodies report annually to Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEAI) on energy performance. To facilitate this, an on-line monitoring and reporting (M&R) system was established enabling SEAI to track progress towards the 2020 energy efficiency target.

The workshop was closed with opened up a discussion about the program, EU energy targets and possibilities and challenges in importing this program in Polands’ frame.
