On March 16, 2018 the third Austrian stakeholder meeting was organised. The topic of the stakeholder meeting was the Austrian Industrial Act and the possible integration of regulatory reliefs for EMAS organisations into the Austrian Industrial Act. In the beginning of the meeting four input speeches were given to look at the topic from different perspectives:
• Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism
• Voestalpine – EMAS organisation
• EMAS advisor and former verifier
• Viennese Municipal Department 63 (Trade law, data protection and civil status)
After the input speeches possible regulatory reliefs, the wording of such reliefs and the actions for the action plan were discussed.
