On the 8th of October 2020, the Forum Compraverde Buygreen 2020 hosted a EU GPP-STREAM webinar on “Strategic actions to integrate GPP into the policy instruments and ensure their effective implementation”. This event was organized within Activity B21 of GPP-STREAM Project and was focused on sharing the experience gained so far by the GPP-STREAM partners regarding the integration of green public procurement (GPP) into EU-funded programs and sectoral development plans.
The first section of the event provided an overview of the general methodological approach adopted within the project and the list of the most relevant strategic measures which inspired the partners’ respective policy instrument improvement actions. Speaker was Matteo Gordini from Fondazione Ecosistemi, Italy.
The second section was dedicated to two concrete good examples of actions adopted by two GPP-STREAM partners. Speakers were Georgiana Nedelea (North-East RDA from Romania), Corrado Campobasso and Nicolò Tudorov (Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy).
The final section was focused on the approach adopted within the project to ensure an effective implementation of the partners’ Action Plans. Speaker was Matteo Gordini from Fondazione Ecosistemi, Italy.
