On 21 May 2019, a national GPP-Stream launch conference took place in Udine, at Palazzo Antonini Belgrado. The meeting was entitled "An international path for green public procurement" and it was an opportunity for discussion on the integration of environmental criteria in procurement as an opportunity for growth for all economic sectors.
The beginning of the conference was marked by Ms. Dana Vocino from Fondazione Ecosistemi and Mr Massimo Canali, the leader and legal representative of the GPP-STREAM project.
Ms. Monica Peggion, from the regional council of Lombardy, Italy – a partner of the Interreg Europe GPP4GROWTH project also attended the conference. She represented the Interreg Europe experience.
Giuseppe Cane of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and Livia Mazzà of the Ecosystem Foundation then illustrated the actions of the GPP-Stream project for the integration of green tenders in regional plans and programs.
