On the 7th of April 2022 the 2nd ITHACA Peer Review Group Assessment (PRGA) took place. This time the event was organised online. Mutual interregional learning took place among approximately 35 participants on the topic of 'Digitalisation Health and Care during COVID-19'.
A varied mix op stakeholders with different backgrounds joined the event: citizens organisations, companies, governmental organisations, service providers and researchers from the following regions: Basque Country, Liverpool, Malopolska, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Noord-Brabant.
First, Mrs. Marian Ibarrondo Unamunzaga - Director of Research and Innovation for Health, Basque Government Department of Health - of the hosting region of Basque County opened the PRGA and welcomed all the participants. She emphasised the importance of innovation in Active and Healthy Ageing, the value of mutual learning and sharing of Good Practices.
After the welcome ITHACA Expert Member and project manager Xabier Elcoroaristizabal from Basque Foundation for Health Innovation and Research shared a short overview of all the Good practices after which the participants were divided in two groups.
The results of the group discussions have been beautifully captured by drawing artists Arianne Vedrenne and Julia van Leeuwen.
DRAWINGS TO BE ADDED
There will be two more opportunities during this year where we can meet each other face to face: in Malopolska and in Baden Württemberg. That would be great!
Wonderful to see how much we have in common in the different regions in Europe. And that we can learn together how to deal with the Covid pandemic.
