On the 8th of October, the Provincial Government of Zaragoza (DPZ) fulfilled a MOMAr tour in Campo de Daroca region, consisting of a formal meeting and a visit to Palacio de los Luna, an important piece of Mudejar architecture.


On behalf of the DPZ, Isabel Soria and Irene Ruiz Bazán led the tour, they were received at the headquarters of the Campo de Daroca Foundation by its director, Luis Majarena, and the Councilor for Culture of the Daroca City Council and Director of the Center for Daroca Studies, José León, with whom they had already held previous meetings to outline the nature of this action.

Also participating in the MOMAR tour were Asunción Sancho, Tourism delegate of the Daroca Region, Felipe Gonzalo, responsible for the Employment and Local Development Agency of the Daroca City Council, José Ángel García Lucas, management Technician of the Daroca Region, and Ana Isabel Marín, from the ADRI Jiloca-Gallocanta Local Action group.

During the meeting, the different initiatives that are being carried out in the field of heritage management in the region were put together. Besides, some key lines to be developed during the next period were drawn up within the scope of the MOMAr project.

After the meeting, the group visited the Palacio de los Luna, one of the best examples of Aragonese Mudejar civil architecture, owned by the Campo de Daroca Foundation and for which different management studies are currently being carried out to guide future consolidation and restoration interventions.
