This September, MOMAr’s partner, Ministry of Regional Development and Transport of Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), hosted together with the Ministry of Economics, Science and Digitization, and the EU Service Agency of the Interreg Community a face to face meeting in Saxony- Anhalt.  

Partners and Lead Partners of ongoing Interreg projects exchanged views on challenges of project implementation and local stakeholder involvement considering the current COVID-19 situation. As well as the future of the Interreg programs in the new funding period from 2021 and the future support offers after the end of the EU service agency were discussed.


The meeting

The meeting held this September 16, 2020 was also an opportunity to present MOMAr’s project. It was one of the selected Interreg projects to highlight the importance of natural and cultural heritage in rural areas. In addition there were other 6 ongoing projects presented, such as RFC, STIMULART, LIDANET, RENATUR, Arrival Regions, and DelFin.

At the end of the meeting, the Interreg Central Europe from 2021 was presented, and the guideline for application and co-financing called the REGIO guideline.
