On 14th of November Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship organized a conference dedicated to regional beekeepers.
At the beginning Marshal of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship – Mr. Piotr Całbecki, directed warm welcome words to attenders and emphasize the importance of bees and influence on humanity.
Conference was divided into parts.
During the first part Mr. Marek Podlewski (regional expert of honey sector) presented a current situation of honey sector in Poland and in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, as also directions of development for honey producers, quality and safe aspects of the sector.
Especially for this event Mr. Conor Daly came to Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region to share with regional stakeholders about initiative Active Irish Honey. During presentation he mentioned about beginnings of @HiveDonegal.
Next part of the conference was about marketing and promotion in honey sector leading by Mr. Artur Smolicki – an expert of marketing and host of blog about commercial and marketing.
At the end participants had an opportunity to see culinary show where presented meals were based on honey – additionally also used kinds of honey in cuisines.
During the next day (15th of November) Mr. Conor Daly visited two apiaries in Kujawsko-Pomorskie. It was great chance to exchange experiences and links for future cooperation.
