Start in Podkarpackie with winning ideas!
The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development received 60 applications in the sixth round of the competition "Startup development in Eastern Poland", the Agency recommended for funding a record number of 35 young innovative companies, which will receive a total of over PLN 33 million.
The pool of funds in the competition amounts to PLN 390 million, of which 145 applications have been recommended so far for the amount of almost PLN 138 million. The competition lasts until December 30, 2021. Entrepreneurs can apply for up to PLN 1 million in support of their projects. The aim of the competition carried out under sub-measure 1.1.2 of the Eastern Poland Operational Program is to finance the development of business activities of startups that have successfully completed incubation under one of the six "Start-up platforms", such as "Start in Podkarpackie" implemented by the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency.
The competition is aimed at young companies from Podlaskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Lubelskie, Świętokrzyskie, and Podkarpackie voivodeships, which have completed the incubation of an innovative idea on one of the six start-up platforms and have their own contribution not less than 15 percent of the eligible expenditure of the project.
Most of the projects recommended in the 6th round of the competition are addressed to the IT, electronics, and medical sectors. Recommendations were received from the starting platforms: Start in Podkarparckie - 10 ideas, Hub of Talents 2 - 9, Wschodni Akcelerator Biznesu - 8, Startup Heroes - 6, and Idealist - 2.
