Last time, we explained what a digitalization is. There is also another term that might be misunderstood, I mean - digital transformation. It's mistaken quite often and explained that digitalization and digital transformation is the same, but .. is not!

To digitize is to convert analog data into digital form. It also means automation of manual processes such as completing application forms by hand to entering data directly on an iPad or web portal. Digitalization makes communication faster, easier and opens new channels for real-time information. Digitization has involved the application of new technologies to existing business models to make them operate better.

Let's now say few words about digital transformation. Digital transformation is the integration of digital technology into all areas of a business, fundamentally changing how you operate and deliver value to customers. It's also a cultural change that requires organizations to continually challenge the status quo, experiment, and get comfortable with failure. DX (digital transformation) looks different for each company so it's pretty difficult to give one definition, however it is explained as above. Digital transformation is not a one-time action, but a continuous process that brings in new business models. It goal is to  change the way business is carried out. It will go a long way towards satisfying the end customer, which is the very purpose of being in business.
