During our second partnership meeting in Hampshire, many helpful and inspiring ideas were presented by all partners. Vratsa Software Community, that we wrote about some time ago, was the first organization presented by Bulgarian partner. Second Organization is Bulagrian Startup Association.
BESCO is a non-government organization that acts as a bridge between startups, private and institutional investors, the government and other stakeholders in the innovation industry. Its seat is in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.
The Assosication was founded in 2017 by entrepreneurs. It's organisation of employers that puts the spotlight over the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bulgaria. They already have over 350 company members and today are working on hundreds of legislative proposals aiming to position Bulgaria as the Startup incubator of the European market. Their mission also is to transform the economic model of the country that is based on innovations and R&D.
