During our partnership meeting in Hampshire, we presented regional Good Practices in the subject of Digital solution in the field of supporting start-ups. One of English good practices - the Dorset Growth Hub - has already been presented some time ago ( http://bit.ly/2HdzdNI ). Another Good Practices, presented by our English partner, was Inspiring Enterprise.
WSX Enterprise has secured £2.8 million in funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund to deliver an innovative business start-up support programme. With their activity, they try to help unemployed people to develop and upgrade skills and confidence that is needed to open and run startup or social enterprise. The support is available in the Hampshire and West Surrey and includes:
- ‘Is it for Me?’ Sessions to explore what’s involved
- Workshops and training days covering business planning, marketing, and financial planning
- One to one business advice and support
- Networking with other entrepreneurs
- Mentoring.
