eBay is an American corporation which aim is to facilitate B2B and C2C sale and now it is a multibillion-dollar business and operates in almost 180 countries. It was founded in Autumn 1995 and it changed its name to eBay, in 1997. The website is free to use for buyers, but sellers are obliged to pay some fees for listing items after a limited number of free listings.
Amazon is American Tech company and its activity is focused on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. With google, Apple and Facebook, it creates the group, so called, the Bigh Four tech companies. It is the world's largest online marketplace where you can buy almost everything.
Aliexpress is an online retail service based in China that was launched in 2010. It is made up of small businesses in China and other locations, such as Singapore, and offer products to international online buyers. I guess it's not surprising, that the above-mentioned report showed, that this is the most famous and the most often used online shop in Europe.
