Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park "Aeropolis" is an industrial district in the metropolitan area of Rzeszów, which has been filled with enterprises and attracts many investments to neighboring areas. Both global brands and small and medium enterprises operate here. Conditions were also created for the development of startups. An economic ecosystem has been created, in which many entities cooperate with each other, and their staff is regularly supplied by graduates of universities and technical schools from nearby Rzeszów.

"Aeropolis", an almost 200-hectare industrial district of the Rzeszów agglomeration, was created in 2001. It is managed by Rzeszowska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. From the beginning, the goal was to build an ecosystem conducive to the development of innovative enterprises, including from the aviation and automotive industry, whose long traditions in the province have resulted in a wealth of engineering staff. Through the Investor Assistance Center, the agency introduced the first large companies, such as MTU Aero Engines and Borg Warner, to the zone. Others were convinced by human potential and location. Within sixteen years, the value of investments in Aeropolis has exceeded PLN 3.2 billion. Almost 6.8 thousand people found employment there.

RARR S.A. intends to start this year's investment which will complete the offer for entrepreneurs. A building will be erected in the Technology Incubator complex, located in the center of Aeropolis, which will function as a business park.

Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park creates good conditions for the development of young businesses. The Technology Incubator Complex in Jasionka consists of 4 independent buildings in which 56 business entities operate (data from the beginning of 2020). Production and service halls and offices for rent are located here. You can use conference and business rooms. A material science and prototyping laboratory equipped with modern measuring equipment also offers its services. Business premises are also rented at the Academic Incubator in Rzeszów, in the town of Rzeszow University of Technology.

The successive records of the Start In Podkarpackie platform are proof that the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency and the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park are doing well with the incubation of young companies. They concern the number of ideas submitted and subsidies granted. The Podkarpackie platform attracts people with innovative ideas from various parts of the country. It is one of five centers in Eastern Poland which, thanks to its victory in the competition of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, prepares startups to enter the market and allows to obtain a million grant for the commercialization of a product or service. The recruitment of innovative ideas for the Start In Podkarpackie Start Platform is carried out on a continuous basis and the ideas adopted for the project go to the next rounds of incubation.
