2nd meeting of the Regional Stakeholders Group of the Scale Up project in Lublin

How do we benefit and not lose on Industry 4.0 developments? How do we prepare for it? How do we start building a road map and which competencies should Industry 4.0 engineers develop? These were the issues tackled during the 2nd Lublin Regional Stakeholders Group meeting for the Scale Up project. The meeting was held online on the 24th of June. The title of the workshop was “Creating new business models in production companies” with a special attention paid to Industry 4.0.

Industry 4.0 is an advanced stage of company development evoked by digital transformation, where value chains, products, services and business models are upgraded. The aim of the meeting was to present the participants with opportunities created by the 4th industrial revolution in terms of archetypes of future factories, 4.0 industry technologies and competences of the 4.0 engineer. The main speaker during the workshop was Arkadiusz Roadak – an expert for consulting on Industry 4.0 from the company, Astor Sp. z o.o.

The workshop was also an occasion to give a brief presentation on the good practices to support SMEs executed by partners of the SCALE UP project. The participants of the event had a chance to get familiar and understand better the experiences of partners from Spain (Info Murcia), Germany (Regional management Northern Hesse GmbH), Greece (Regional Development Fund on behalf of the Region of Attica), Great Britain (Nottingham City Council) and Italy (Lazio Innova).
