The first Local Stakeholder Meeting was organized to discuss the scope of regional SMEs analysis and possible changes in PFC in the nearest future and was held on 8 December 2020.
In the meeting the following subjects were discussed:
- The possibilities to integrate the results of Semester 1 and Semester 2 analyses into national legislation: into implementation programme of the new government (EIM Human recourse development unit takes part in its development); ESFA also expressed the wish to take part in planning the new streams, new measures of New financing period.
- The opportunities to improve Project financing conditions of the nearest calls according to the conclusions of Semester 1 and Semester 2 analyses (1. Refuse the rejection to train top managers of the companies applying for ESF support as Semester 1 analysis concluded its high necessity. 2. Refuse the rejection of the following "general" training (team building, creativity, motivation, formation of organizational culture, personal effectiveness, good management (couching including), other "soft" competencies (to solve conflicts, stress management, communication, emotional intelligence, leadership, positive thinking, time planning, organizational changes, personnel management, feed bac, task delegation, meeting management etc) as Semester 1 analysis concluded their high importance for future companies regarding Industry4.0 changes. 3. Facilitation of the requirements of on-line training in ongoing measures where the majority of SMEs are implementing their projects - conclusion of Semester 2 analysis. 4. Introducing new priority criteria to promote SMEs -conclusion of Semester 2 analysis. 5. Introducing new priority criteria to promote the training of low-qualified employees - conclusion of Semester 1 analysis.
- The possibilities and the need for EIM to have a Monitoring system of industry digitalization in Lithuania - it is planned to develop this idea in Action Plan after good practice consultations with other partners as well as Lithuanian stakeholders.
The second Local Stakeholder Meeting was held to present the performed analysis, which aims to assess how Lithuanian SMEs are preparing for Industry 4.0 and what competencies they prefer to develop and took place on 28 January 2021.
The results of the analysis were presented to the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, vocational training, business, science and innovation organizations.
Besides the results of the analysis, the possibilities of using and publicizing them were discussed.
