In connection with the development of the pro-innovation service planned under Action 1 in the Silesian Action Plan, the 40 Ready project team together with Techno Park Gliwice - substantively responsible for the preparation of the service - went on a study visit to Israel - to know their ecosystem - mainly start-ups.

Pro-innovation service planned in the Action Plan will focus on assistance in developing/changing the business model of an idea and in developing a service/product and Scale-up. Operatively, new IT services will be developed along with a model for their commercialization. These services will contribute to the development and implementation of the idea of Industry 4.0 and thus to the development of digitalization, innovation in enterprises, and increasing the competitiveness of SMEs in the region. This action will also help to increase the competitiveness of business environment institutions.

The planned service is developed as part of the regional project of the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship entitled "Network of Regional Specialised Observatories in the process of entrepreneurial discovery - edition II".

Participants had the opportunity to visit the MIC- Municipal Innovation Center, which deals with smart city solutions. The project team got to know IT tools used to manage city systems: transportation, public buildings, water, Sewage, engineering systems, infrastructure, and more while integrating and engaging citizens and stakeholders.

They also took part in the DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival, where they could get to know companies and their solutions in the field of digitization.
