On May 27, a webinar upon 3D Printing took place. The meeting was organized by the Science and Technology Park "Technopark Gliwice" Sp. z o.o. which is one of the key stakeholders of the 40READY project.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the functions and techniques of prototyping using 3D printing. It was attended by representatives of companies, the scientific community and startups.
The event was also attended by a representative of the Marshal's Office Silesian Voivodship, a partner of the 40 READY project team, who presented the region's activities towards industry 4.0 as well as the assumptions and material progress of the works carried out under the 40 READY project. The speech was an opportunity to discuss the results of the research carried out as part of the project on the analysis of needs in the field of key competences of SMEs in the Silesian Voivodeship according to Industry 4.0 and the assessment of the level of readiness for Industry 4.0 in terms of resources in enterprises, business environment institutions and research and development institutions.
Good regional practices were also presented: Silesian Competence Center of Industry 4.0, TML Assessment Index - a tool developed under the 4Steps project carried out by Interreg Central Europe and EMT Systems. The preliminary assumptions of the Action Plan under preparation, which provides for the implementation of activities in the field of development and support for digitization in enterprises, were presented as well.
The event was organized as part of the project "Network of Regional Specialist Observatories in the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process in the Silesian Voivodeship SO RIS in PPO II" co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund.
