On 23 November, Wallonia organised its 7th Stakeholder project Committee. Unfortunately, the health conditions did not allow for a face-to-face meeting, but the stakeholders met by videoconference.

This meeting was an opportunity to take stock of the news and achievements of the collaborative work of the Walloon actors involved in the project.

Firstly, the Committee members approved the report drawn up by the Reading Group on the results and recommendations of the survey carried out among "Business Vouchers" accredited consultants in "Growth" and/or "Digital". The objective of this survey "Analysis of the human dimension in 4.0" was to measure the consideration given to human aspects in companies' digital transformation plans.

It is clear that 92% of respondents declare they are aware of this dimension and that they consider it to be very important or even fundamental to the success of a digital transformation plan. It is also worth noting that half of the respondents are keen to open up their horizons and come into more regular contact with players more specialised in the human and organisational dimensions. The results of this survey will be disseminated and provide several useful recommendations for the Walloon action plan.

Secondly, the Walloon actors mobilised on the project addressed the last actions of the work programme, including

  • the interregional workshop in Bucharest on 12 October, which allowed for the exchange and comparison between regions of the main lines of work of future regional action plans;
  • the "Factory 4.0" conference organised by the Romanian partners, during which our colleague Jessica Miclotte from AdN presented several tools from Wallonia linking digital transformation and the human factor (DigiScore, Made different, etc.)
  • the virtual meeting of 13 December bringing together Tuscany-Silesia-Wallonia around the pilot action aimed at supporting the opening of centres of excellence to a maximum of users in the territory and in which our Walloon stakeholders from Technifutur and TechnoCampus actively participated.

Finally, the Walloon stakeholders analysed the first calendar of actions of the 2022 work programme in which the deployment of communication actions is already planned, the organisation of an interregional workshop in Wallonia as well as one at the partner's in Navarra, the finalisation of the regional action plans as well as the preparation of phase 2 of the project.

The next Committee meeting should be scheduled for April 2022.
