After initializing the procedure of the Ex-Ante Assessment of the Regional Action Plan with title: “District heating projects with the use of Biomass and other similar sources, for the use of Renewable Energy Technologies in Public Buildings of small municipalities in Western Macedonia”, the Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences (TEIWM) briefly presented the FINERPOL project at the 6th International ASHRAE Conference “Energy in Buildings 2017”, on the 21st of October 2017.
The conference also included presentations by companies, research institutes, ASHRAE officers, EU-project consultants, all from the energy efficiency in buildings field.
The conference was attended by more than 200 participants, with a representation of different sectors.
Dr Tsiamitros, on behalf of the TEIWM team, delivered the speech with the title: “New ICT Infrastructure for the efficient energy management in buildings in the framework of the smart grids trend”, where the TEIWM activities were presented together with the ex-ante assessment from the FINERPOL project.
