Learn how Member States and regions are using EU funding to encourage low carbon investments. That is the goal of FI Campus 'Financial instruments under the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in the 2014-2020 programming period', which will be held in Brussels from November 29th to December 1st and is aimed especially at the ESIF management authorities, financial intermediaries, regions, cities and their stakeholders, among which will be present the FINERPOL project.
FI Campus is an importan annual event which focuses on the financial instruments of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESI Funds) in 2014-2020 programming period. The event organizers are the European Commission and the European Investment Bank, who will offer sessions during three days on the normative guidance of the European Commission (EC), ranging from state aid to management, monitoring and auditing.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover case studies and examples of the recent progress made in establishing financial instruments that support the objectives of the European Social Fund (ESF). These include loans, guarantees and capital support for investments in a wide range of sectors, such as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), energy efficiency, urban development and research and development.
