The University of Applied Sciences of Western Macedonia (TEIWM) presented the FINERPOL project and the good practices of financial instruments for energy renovation policies.
The conference aims at creating and supporting networks of SMEs Business (SMEs) towards innovation and green growth. The event was held at the National Center for Public Administration in Athens on February 28. Mr Dimitris Tsiamitros from TEIWM, who raised an interesting debate on good European and Greek practices on technical support and complementary financial instruments for energy renewal policies.
The General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Economy and Development participates as a partner in the GRASPINNO project (Interreg MED 2014-2020), which focuses on "green" public procurement contracts for the energy upgrade of public buildings and aims at creating and supporting networks of SMEs Business (SMEs) towards innovation and green growth.
Attendees included authorities responsible for public procurement of building renovation works, SMEs in the energy efficiency sector, ESCO and investors, such as Public Power Corporation, representatives of the Greek ESCO registry, representatives of the Technical Chamber of Greece, etc.
