ATLAS has been engaged in fulfillment of the sustainable development rules for many years. It aim is to offer modern building materials which can be used in construction of warm, comfortable and safe objects.
The manufacturing of construction materials inevitably influences the environment, as production processes require the use of natural resources and energy, cause emission of pollutants and creation of waste products. Aware of mutual relations with the world we live in, ATLAS strives to limit or eliminate or negative influence on the environment.
ATLAS as one of the first Polish companies decided to assess the environmental impact with the LCA method and edition of the III type environmental declarations. The External Thermal Insulation Composite System ATLAS ETICS with products used in insulation of building external walls with polystyren was chosen for assessment.
