LCA4Regions project presented new challenges for Baixo Alentejo region and CIMBAL. CIMBAL - based upon its action plan- engaged in specific activities to increment regional know how.
Based on two specific good practices, from Slovenia and from Poland, both dedicated to training and capacity building, this action presented as main objective the preparation of specific training actions focusing on the implementation of life cycle methodologies.
Due to the nature of this action, CIMBAL articulated the work with one of the most relevant stakeholders of the region, the regional managing authority, CCDR Alentejo. Together with CIMBAL, the regional managing authority developed workshops focusing on the inclusion of circular and green principals in procedures.
The work and articulation between two interreg Europe projects (LCA4Regions and Circpro, this one with the participation of CCDR Alentejo) represents an added value to all Alentejo region and enabled specific actions and results resulting on the improvement of regional policy instruments.
The development of this action represented an added value in what relates to capacity building in all Alentejo region.
