1st Regional Dissemination and Stakeholders Event in the Lodzkie Region
On 14 November 2019, the first regional dissemination event and stakeholders meeting of the LCA4Regions project was carried out in the Lodzkie Region. The aim was to introduce LCA4Regions Project and to look for stakeholders to work with.
A numerous group of potential stakeholders gathered at the meeting. The meeting was attended by main quadriple-helix actors. The meeting was opened by the Deputy Director of the Department of Promotion of the Lodzkie Region who introduced the broader context of the circular economy referring to the international projects carried out by the Lodzkie Region.
Next, the assumptions, stages and goals of the project were presented to participants. The Lodz University of Technology introduced the subject of LCA and presented the current research conducted on this by the Faculty of Process Engineering and Environmental Protection. Representatives of the Lodzkie Region encouraged future stakeholders to cooperate in creating regional analysis of LCA. The idea and goals of this analysis were discussed at the meeting. Finally, upcoming project activities and events were presented. Participants positively assessed the idea of the project and its importance for regions.
