On December 11th and 12th, the Galician Health Knowledge Agency (ACIS) together with the Galician Public Health System received a visit from our partners of the Digital Health & Care Institute (DHI) and the Scottish Government.
During the first day of the visit, Javier Quiles del Río - Head of IT Project Management Service (Galician Health Service) and Marta Sande - IANUS Office, presented the IANUS and Telea platforms. IANUS is an e-tool that offers healthcare professionals the patient clinical information. Telea is the home telecare platform for patients.
The first day of the visit continued with the presentation of E-Saude, after an institutional lunch chaired by the Secretary General of the Regional Ministry of Health, Alberto Fuentes Losada. The E-Saude electronic platform acts as a tool of personalization of services for the patient by providing citizens with easy access to personalized services and contents according to their personal needs.
During the second day of the visit, Sergio Figueiras Gómez - Director of the Health Innovation Area (ACIS), presented the Health Innovation Platform. It is an open channel to collaborative projects with all type of agents, such as users, association of patients, business, universities, technological centres, etc. looking for synergies and complementarity.
The in situ visit ended with the presentation of the PRIS programme, started in 2013 to catalyze and boost the good ideas of the profesionals of the Health Sector in Galicia. Also, with the presentation of two Public Procurement of Innovative Solution (PPI) projects -INNOVASAUDE and H2050- and two Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP) projects -INNOVASUMA and EMPATTICS (www.empattics.eu).
