On 21 October, Ecovidrio and EMULSA have installed two pink containers in Gijón in order to encourage recycling of glass and promote breast cancer prevention. The campain, developed in partnership with Sandra Ibarra Foundation, underlines the importance of the protection of the environment and health by means of prevention.

A mini pink glass container, designed by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, can also be purchased through the website Miniglú.es, with the profits going to the Sandra Ibarra Foundation to contribute to cancer prevention and research. On the container, the Sandra Ibarra Foundation motto stands out: "Full of life."

The campaign has been extended to more than 140 cities throughout Spain such as Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Valladolid, Logroño, Zaragoza, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or Santiago de Compostela in order to sensitize a greater number of citizens. For this reason, Ecovidrio has installed more than 370 pink containers throughout the country.
