This year was the first ever fully digital European Week of Regions of Cities (EWRC). It offered to participants more than 500 digital working sessions to discover over three consecutive weeks, from 5-22 October 2020.
The first week was dedicated to the thematic cluster Empowering Citizens with working sessions on topics ranging from e-democracy, co-creation in public services, entrepreneurship and many more. The second week of this year's #EURegionsWeek was dedicated to the thematic cluster Cohesion and Cooperation, with the highest number of working sessions and all the political highlights. Finally, the third week revolved around the theme “Green Europe”, kick started by the Opening of the Green Week (organised by DG Environment), the programme was fully dedicated to the Green Europe theme with working sessions on topics such as localizing the green deal, energy efficiency and biodiversity.
Before the EWRC started, we had shared with you some relevant sessions we spotted. If you missed them or would like to see them again as well as the many other sessions that took place, you can visit the event REPLAY page and re-discover the interactive exhibition of projects and initiatives around the three themes!
