For already several years, EMULSA, lead partner of WINPOL is taking part in the European Week of Waste Reduction.
Why not following this example?
The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) is the biggest awareness-raising campaign on waste prevention in Europe. Every year, it involves thousands of people among public authorities, citizens, schools, businesses, NGOs, associations, who organise activities to raise awareness about waste reduction.
This year the EWWR will take place from 20 to 28 November and will focus on the topic of Circular Communities. The aim is to raise the attention on the role played by local communities in the transition towards a circular economy and inspire actions based on the collaboration among people, with a special attention on the impact that local communities can have on this new phase of Covid-recovery.
This year the EWWR will celebrate its 13th edition! It will be officially presented during a side event of the European Week of Regions and Cities on 3 November from 10:30 to 12:00 (CET).
Join this event to hear regional and national practices to promote a waste reduction, focusing on the role played by circular communities. Inspirations and practical examples will be provided by public authorities and organisations strongly involved in the transition to a less-waste world.
