The first Info day of WINPOL was organised on 20 October 2018 in Maribor by Snaga. The event included a visit of the center for the preparation of secondary raw materials. The organisers were surprised by the interest expressed by the participants in knowing more about waste management development. Visitors asked a lot of questions, mostly about how the current monitoring system works and how Snaga intends to upgrade it in the future.
The Info Day was attended by citizens, as well as representatives of various target public - from the representatives of the companies working with Snaga to business partners, who are interested in Snaga's development. Together almost 100 people attended the Info Day organised by Snaga, sharing the belief, that it is necessary to implement intelligent technologies in waste management because they can lead to the basic fact that waste management services should be payed by those who produced waste.
