Nicosia Development Agency (ANEL) invited its members municipalities to present the new Interreg Europe project 2LIFES.
The presentation took place at Latsia Municipality Boardroom on the 3rd of December 2019. The presentation was attended by municipal officers who are working in the area of environment, waste management, urban planning and development, innovation and technological development.
At the end of the presentation, attendees and ANEL’s team held fruitful roundtable discussions and highlighted the importance of the project as a tool to improve regional and municipal waste management to further develop and enhance re-use policies – ultimately contributing to waste minimization and resource efficiency.
ANEL committed to arrange a new meeting with the municipalities along with other key stakeholders related to the topic after the upcoming workshop in Brussels on February 2020.
